Milestones Therapy Services is owned by Mrs. Mariel Cortez, a certified state licensed Speech Language Pathologist with over a decade of experience. Mariel’s passion is working with children with special needs and advocating for early intervention. She enjoys providing family support throughout the therapy process. Mariel married Danelo Cortez in 2019. They enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring outdoor activities with their three dogs in their hometown Houston, TX.

A superb and experienced employee. A supervising therapist, Angelika, ensures all her therapists have the current knowledge and techniques to guarantee patients receive the highest qualify of care. During her time off, Angelika enjoys painting, making jewelry, and yoga. In addition, Angelika loves to travel the world and tries to take in every new experience.
